About Nikki
Nikki is a Newborn Care Specialist who began their career in 2011 as a Professional Infant/Toddler Nanny. After many years of experience caring for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, as well as multiples, she transitioned to the NCS field in 2021 while earning her degree in Child Development. Her belief is that all families succeed when they get the support they need, and as an NCS, she is a part of that support network. Nikki employs inclusive, culturally relevant, and evidence-based care practices. She empowers parents with parent education and encouragement to reach their full parenting potential and experience a positive newborn phase. Her goal is to leave parents feeling confident in their abilities. Through respectful, responsive, and nurturing care, Nikki provides newborns with a feeling of security and love. Additionally, she loves to incorporate and educate about principles from numerous childcare philosophies such as Montessori, RIE (Respectful Infant Educarer), and Reggio Emilia. Her favorite part of being an NCS is the ability to help families enjoy the newborn phase.
Nikki currently holds an associate degree in child development, is an Advanced NCS, is CACHE Certified, and holds the Nanny Credential through the International Nanny Association. She also has education in lactation, caring for multiples, safe sleep and sleep conditioning, formula, and multiple parenting/teaching styles. Her personal belief is that learning never stops, and she continues to take educational courses to stay up to date and provide additional services for her clients.
Professionally, she has experience providing daytime, overnight, extended & 24/7 shifts, and travel care domestically/internationally. Her travel care also includes care on board private ships. She has experience working with HNW/Higher Profile families.
In her free time, Nikki enjoys spending time with her husband and cat, reading, and planning trips to Disney. She loves to support families in need when possible.
